Welcome to the Caitrin
Academy
of Irish
Dance. The Caitrin Academy of Irish Dance was founded in
September, 1996 in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania by Kate Wosczyna,
T.C.R.G., A.D.C.R.G.
The school started out with only 20 students in a small fire
hall in Bridgeport, PA. Since then, the school has grown to
over
250 students! We have moved our location to a brand new
studio in Skippack, PA. Our students have been successful on
a local, state and national level of competition. We have
also
performed for many local dignitaries, civic organizations and
charity events. The Caitrin Academy was chosen as the
official dance drama team for the Philadelphia
Irish
Memorial.
While we support a competitive atmosphere, we also instill,
in our students, a
pride of giving. Our dancers have performed
at many fund raisers for local nursing homes as well as helping to
raise money for causes such as the Race
for the Cure
and
the Timothy
School.
We strive to develop the entire dancer -
mind, body
and soul.
