 Summer 10 Green Lane Festival (Updated 7/11/10) The Green Lane Festival is right around the corner! Check out the website for more information. The schedule of events has been posted as well. Caitrin Academy will be dancing twice on Saturday Sep 11th. The first performance is from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM and the second performance is from 4:50 PM until 5:20 PM. Both performances will be at the Pavilion - Rock Circle Side. On Sunday Sep 12th, Caitrin will be dancing from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Pavilion. If you wish to participate, please contact Kate. You will need to sign up, but are not required to attend both days... unless you want to! Upcoming Performances (Updated 7/11/10) There are a number of upcoming performances. The dates are also listed on the Events page. If you wish to participate in any of these events, let Kate know! There is usually a practice that accompanies the performance. More information will be provided as it is known, but we wanted to get this information out so you can keep the dates open! • July 17th Sacred Heart Fair in Royersford • July 25th Birthday Party (afternoon) (We will need a four-hand and an eight-hand ceili group.) • August 22nd St. Patrick's The time has not been set yet, but will most likely be sometime in the afternoon. • August 24th Open House at the Studio • September 11th through September 12th Green Lane Festival (See Green Lane Festival block for more information.) • September 11th Trappe Community Day This will be sometime in the afternoon. (Note: This is the same day as Green Lane). Open House (Updated 7/11/10) Our Open House will be August 24th from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM. This is a great way to check out what is happening at the studio, meet friends you may not have seen in a while, and talk to the championship dancers. If you are new or have only been attending for a year or two, or just want to see what is happening, stop by and ask Kate questions about the upcoming year. Championship dancers, please contact Kate if you are able to help! Summer Camp Registration (Updated 6/24/10) There is still time to attend a Summer Camp! Summer Camps are a great way to have fun while improving the dancers technique and ability. There will be three types of camps offered this summer. The Advanced Camp is for championship and prizewinner dancers. All other dancers can choose from 8 different evenings of practice camps (held on Tuesdays and Thursdays – see the Events page for actual dates). Please fill out and give to Kate this Registration Form. In addition there will also be ceili camps! Ceili camp will work on teaching 4 hand and 8 hand ceili dances. This will be good experience for the newer ceili dancer as well as those who are in existing groups. These classes will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays (see the Events page for actual dates). Please fill out and give to Kate this Registration Form. Class Schedule (Updated 7/11/10) The Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 schedules have been posted on the School Information - Class Schedules page . Please contact Kate if you have any questions. Need Dance Supplies? (Updated 4/24/10) The Reel Deal has just what you need, dance shoes (soft and hard), accessories, apparel, and more. Also check out the Reel Deal Store in Phoenixville! If you head towards Main Street from Collegeville, it will be on your left. The store is located after the Route 29 turnoff to the hospital, but if you pass the Iron Hill Brewery you went too far. |
